Madhav Motor Stores is located in Andheri West, which is always a total mess with the traffic on S V Road. Our shop is right there on Road No 11, near the Gold Gate Hotel. It is a very busy spot to be. We handle a lot of motor parts and various spares that people need for their vehicles. It is a bit of a tight squeeze inside the shop because we have boxes stacked up almost to the ceiling. If you need something specific, you might have to wait a few minutes while we dig through the back shelves to find it. The fans are always spinning, but it still gets quite hot in the afternoons. My father was the one who started this whole thing, and now we just keep the doors open and the stock moving. We don't have those fancy digital displays you see in the newer malls. It is mostly just us and the customers coming in sweaty from the street. The 1st Main area has changed a lot over the years, but we are still here in the same place. Most of the day is spent checking the inventory or talking to local mechanics who know exactly what they want. It is about getting the right part for the right engine without making a fuss. Sometimes we get the wrong delivery from the warehouse, and then it is a whole headache of sorting it out. The phone rings a lot with people asking for gaskets.
