M. Suresh & Co.

We have been operating M. Suresh & Co. from Jain Tower for quite some years. Being on Mathew Road near Opera House means it’s always crowded. Our office is at 15/16. It is a bit of a walk up if the lift is slow. The area around Mehta Mehal is always buzzing with people and bikes. We spend most of our mornings opening mail and setting up for the day. It’s a small team here. We don’t go for big ads. Most people find us because they know the building. The office has old wooden desks and some chairs that creak. We focus on the work at hand without much fuss. If you visit, you might have to dodge a few delivery carts on the street. That's just how the neighborhood is. We’ve seen the streets change over time but our spot stays the same. We take our time with each task to make sure things aren't messed up. Lunch is usually brought from home and eaten at the desk. We talk about local news or just what’s happening in the market. It’s not a corporate vibe at all. Just a regular workplace where everyone knows their job. We keep the ledger books tidy and try to stay organized. It’s a lot of manual work and phone calls. We don’t really use fancy software for everything. Just honest work day in and out. It can be stressful when things get busy, but we manage somehow.
