Down in MIDC, Mumbai, things are always loud and moving fast. We are located at A 791 10, right in the heart of the industrial action. Our days are filled with the sound of metal hitting metal and the smell of cutting oil. We make small parts, the kind of precision pieces that go into bigger machines. It’s dirty work sometimes, but there’s a lot of pride in getting a measurement exactly right. We use lathes and milling machines that have seen a lot of use over the years. Our floors aren't polished; they're covered in metal shavings and footprints. The team here consists of people who grew up around machinery. We don't sit in meetings all day. Usually, we are out on the floor checking the tolerances on a batch of bolts or custom fittings. Mumbai’s humidity doesn't make it easy, but the fans keep things bearable. We get orders from all over, but we still feel like a local workshop. We deal with other businesses that need parts they can't just buy off a shelf. Sometimes things break and we have to figure out a fix on the fly. It's a hands-on environment where you learn something new every time a tricky blueprint comes across the desk. We keep our heads down and stay focused on the metal. It’s what we know how to do best.
