M K Manufacturing Company

You can find us tucked away in the Bhatia Glass Compound. It’s right on the Vakola Pipe Line road in Santacruz East, which is always a bit of a mess with the traffic and the narrow lanes. M K Manufacturing Company has been operating out of this spot for a good while. The compound itself is old, and you have to dodge some puddles if it has been raining. Inside, it’s mostly just the sound of tools and the radio playing in the background. We don’t have any polished floors or glass walls here. It’s a real workshop. We make various parts and items, and there is usually a layer of fine dust on everything by the end of the day. The guys working here have been with us for years. We know each other's families and what everyone likes for tea. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. It isn't a high-tech setup, but we know our machines inside and out. We spend a lot of time on D. M. Road talking to the logistics guys about when the next pickup is happening. It gets crowded when the trucks come in, and we all have to pitch in to move the crates. It’s honest work, and we don't feel the need to pretend it's anything else. We just show up, do the job, and go home.
