M. K. Husein Traders

If you find yourself on Janjikar Street, you’ll probably see us at M. K. Husein Traders. We are at Shop No. 5, which is 51/61 on the street, right opposite Hotel Benzy. It is a very crowded area, especially since Akbar Travels is nearby and there are always people coming and going with their bags. The street is narrow, and sometimes it feels like the whole city is trying to squeeze through at the same time. Our shop isn't very large, so we have to be smart about how we stack the goods. We’ve been here for a while and we know most of the other shopkeepers on the block. It’s the kind of place where you can always hear someone shouting or a bike horn honking in the background. We spend a lot of time talking to customers who walk in off the street. It’s a lot of manual work, moving boxes and keeping track of what’s sold. The shop stays quite cool despite the chaos outside because of the thick walls. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone like that. It’s just us, the inventory, and the daily hustle of Janjikar Street. Every morning we open the shutters and start the day with a tea from the stall around the corner. It’s a regular life for us, just trading and staying busy in the middle of the market.
