M Coil Spring Manufacturing Company is located in the Kurla Industrial area. It’s a busy spot. We’ve been at Gala 192/22 for a while now. Most people find us by looking for the Union Bank across the road near Green Park Society. The workshop gets pretty loud with the machines running all day. It’s not a fancy office, just a place where we get the work done. Springs are what we do. It’s oily and metallic in here, but that’s just the nature of manufacturing. Some days it’s hot, especially in the afternoons. We have a small team here. Most of us have been around for years. We know the machines better than we know ourselves sometimes. It’s a lot of manual checking and making sure things are the right size. If you walk in, you’ll see stacks of metal and coils everywhere. There isn’t much room for a lobby or anything like that. We usually just talk to people right there on the floor. Ghatkopar West is always moving, and we are just a small part of that industrial noise. We don’t spend much time on the computer unless we have to. Most of the time is spent handling the steel and checking the tension on the springs. It's honest work and we keep at it from morning till evening. We focus on the metal and forget the clock. That is just the way things are here.
