M. B. Mehata & Co.

We've been at Panchratna in the Opera House area for a long time now. M. B. Mehata & Co. is basically just us doing our daily work in room 638. It gets pretty busy around here with all the other offices, but we keep to ourselves and get things done. People know where to find us if they need something. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. It's just a regular office space with desks and files. Some days are slower than others. We handle the paperwork and the orders as they come in. Most of the people working here have been around for years. We know the neighbors and the tea stall guys. It’s a typical day-to-day operation. There isn't much to say about the history, other than we started small and stayed here. The building is old but it works for what we do. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we have to. Most things are still done the old way, which works fine for us. If you walk past the 6th floor, you'll see our sign. We usually have the door open unless the AC is running high. It's a plain spot, nothing special to look at. We just show up, do the work, and go home. That’s how it’s always been at M. B. Mehata & Co. and we don't see that changing anytime soon.
