Lynas Systems is situated in Mumbai. Our office is in Kandivali West, specifically in the Dhanukarwadi area. We are in the Shiv Srushti building, which is part of the Aman Shiv Shankar society on Shankar Pada. Mumbai is a fast place to work, and Kandivali is no different. We deal with systems, which means a lot of technical setup and maintenance. Our space is usually filled with cables and various pieces of equipment waiting to be tested. It can get a bit cramped in the office, especially when we have a lot of deliveries arriving at once. We’ve been here for a while and know the local area well. Most of us take the train or ride bikes to get here. It’s a lot of manual work, even if it is technical. We spend a lot of time on our feet. Sometimes we have to go out to client sites all over Mumbai, which takes a lot of time because of the traffic. That’s just part of being a business in this city. We don't really have time for fancy presentations. We just want to make sure the systems we work on stay running. If something breaks, we fix it. It’s simple enough when you think about it that way. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s a living, and we are glad to have the work coming in.
