Luxor Enterprises

Luxor Enterprises is over at 345 Dockyard Road, right by the Bhuyangdev Cross Road. It’s a gritty part of town near the water, and you can always smell the salt and the diesel from the ships and trucks. Our place is basically a big warehouse with a small section partitioned off for a desk and a couple of chairs. We handle a lot of heavy stuff here, so the floor has plenty of cracks and marks from the forklifts. It is usually pretty drafty because we keep the big doors open to let the air circulate. The traffic on Dockyard Road is a nightmare in the mornings, so we usually get here early to beat the rush. There is always a layer of grit on everything because of the construction nearby, but we wipe things down when we have a spare minute. Most of our day is spent checking manifests and making sure the trucks are loaded correctly. It’s a lot of physical work and sweating in the heat. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just a calendar and some old photos. When the sun goes down, the whole area gets a bit quiet, and that is when we finally finish up the cleaning. It’s a hard day’s work, but it’s honest. We have been at this address for years and people around here know us by name.
