Lumis Biotech is located up on the fifth floor of Arun Chambers. We are at suite 501, right on Tardeo Road. Being on the fifth floor gives us a bit of a view of the street below, which is usually packed with cars and people. Tardeo is a lively area, and there is always plenty of energy around the building. Our office is a bit cramped because we have a lot of files and equipment tucked into the corners. We try to keep it organized, but sometimes it feels like we’re outgrowing the space. It’s a friendly enough atmosphere, though. Most of us have been working together for a while, so we know each other's habits pretty well. We spend our time on various biotech projects, which means a lot of reading and technical work. We don’t really go in for big corporate meetings. Instead, we usually just lean over each other’s desks to talk about things. The elevator in Arun Chambers can be a bit slow in the mornings, so you have to give yourself some extra time. There are plenty of good places to eat around Tardeo Road, which is a nice perk for our lunch breaks. We’re just a small company trying to do honest work in a busy part of the city. It’s nothing more complicated than that. We show up every day and do what needs to be done.
