Lumens

Lumens is located over in Kandivali West. We are in the Avon Apartment building, which is really close to the Santoshi Mata Mandir. If you know where the temple is, you can’t really miss us. It’s a nice area, usually quite busy because of the people going to the mandir for prayers. Our place at number 9 is just a simple setup. We’ve been here for a bit now, and the neighbors are all pretty friendly. It feels like a real community around here. Since we are in an apartment building, it’s a bit more personal than a big shopfront. You walk in and it’s just us doing our thing. We don’t have big flashy signs or anything like that. Most people who come to Lumens are from the local area or they’ve been told about us by someone else. Kandivali West has changed a lot over the years, but our little corner near Avon Apartment stays mostly the same. It can be a bit hard to find parking sometimes, especially on festival days when the mandir is packed, so we usually tell people to come early or walk. We just try to keep things running smoothly and deal with whatever comes up during the day. It’s a straightforward life here. We like being part of the neighborhood and seeing the familiar faces every day. It is just a regular way for us to make a living in the city.
