Lumens Technologies is way up on the tenth floor of Filix Tower. If you know LBS Marg, you know how busy it gets down there, so being up in unit 1011 feels a bit like being in a different world. We have been here for a while, just working away on various tech projects. The office isn't anything fancy. We have some desks, a lot of computers, and way too many tangled cables in the corners. We aren't a big corporation with a lot of layers. Usually, if you call, you just talk to whoever is closest to the phone. Our days are filled with testing things and making sure the electronics are doing what they are supposed to. We eat lunch at our desks more often than we should. The light in the afternoon gets really bright through the big windows, so we usually have to pull the blinds halfway down. We don't have a big marketing budget or anyone to tell us how to sound like a big corporation. We just do our work and go home to our families. Some of us have worked together for ten years now, so we know each other's moods pretty well. It’s a steady place to work, and we’re happy to be part of the community here on LBS Marg. It can be a bit noisy with the construction nearby, but we just turn the radio on and keep moving.
