We are located at 227 in the Neha Industrial Estate. It’s in Borivali East, which means the commute is usually a bit of a struggle for everyone. Luco Pharmaceutical is a smallish team. We don’t have a massive headquarters, just our space here in the estate. Most of the day is spent handling pharmaceutical batches. It’s very precise work, but the environment is pretty relaxed. We know each other’s families and what everyone likes for lunch. The building is one of those standard industrial blocks. Nothing special to look at from the outside, but inside we have what we need to get the job done. We have a lot of shelves filled with glass bottles and containers. Sometimes it gets a bit overwhelming with the paperwork, but we stay on top of it. We don't use a lot of big words or try to act like we are bigger than we are. We just make the products and make sure they get out of the gate on time. There is a small window in the back that lets in a bit of sunlight, which is nice during the long afternoons. It can get pretty humid in Mumbai, so the air conditioning units are usually humming in the background. We don’t have a lot of visitors, so we just focus on our tasks. It’s a quiet, honest day’s work in a busy part of the city, and that’s how we like it.
