Lucas India Service Ltd. is down on Pattullos Road, just a bit away from Mount Road. If you know the area, you know it stays busy. We’ve been at No.11 for a long time. It’s an old building, and sometimes the elevators take a bit to get moving, but it’s home to us. The staff here has been around for years. We aren't really the type to use big words or fancy presentations. We mostly deal with parts and repairs and the paperwork that comes with it. The morning commute is always a bit of a struggle with the traffic on Mount Road, but once we get inside and get the lights on, things settle into a rhythm. We drink a lot of tea while we work through the daily tasks. It gets dusty sometimes with all the files and components we have to move around. We don’t have any shiny showrooms here. It’s just a place of work. We handle what comes through the door and try to keep everyone on the same page. Some days are more hectic than others, especially when shipments arrive late. We just do what needs doing. You won't find anything flashy in our office. It's mostly just desks, phones, and people who have been doing this for a long time. We like the neighborhood, even if it's loud. Sometimes we go out for a quick bite at the small stall around the corner just to get some air before finishing up for the evening and heading home.
