Our place is in the Sanjay Building No. 5, right in the middle of the Mittal Industrial Estate in Andheri. If you’ve ever been to this part of East Mumbai, you know how it gets—crowded, noisy, and always something moving. We’ve got the B-53 unit here. It’s not a showroom. We have workbenches, shelves full of electronic components, and tools lying around where we actually use them. Most mornings start with a quick tea from the stall downstairs before we dive into whatever repair or assembly is on the schedule. The space is a bit tight, especially when a big shipment of parts comes in, but we make it work. We don’t spend much time on fancy office stuff because we are usually too busy looking at circuit boards or testing gear. It’s dusty and practical, like most shops in this estate. Sometimes the power fluctuates or the rain makes the loading bay a mess, but that is just part of being here. We’ve been in this spot for years, and most of our neighbors know us by now. It’s a straightforward setup where we just handle the electronics side of things without any fuss. When you come by, don’t expect a shiny lobby; just look for the door with the Lucas name on it and you’ll find us working on something behind the counter. It is just a real, working shop.
