Upasana Enterprise

We’ve been here at Sunmill Compound for quite some time now. Our place is in the Adharu Industrial Estate, right in the middle of Lower Parel. It’s a busy area, as anyone who works around here knows. Most days involve a lot of moving boxes and keeping track of orders. We don't have a fancy office with big glass windows or anything like that. It's more of a functional workspace where things actually get done. Some people find the building a bit hard to navigate at first, but once you get to unit 311, you’ll find us usually busy with something or the other. We started out small and just kept going year after year. The traffic in this part of the city can be a real headache during peak hours, especially when there is rain, but being centrally located helps us reach our regulars without too much trouble. We don't really do big speeches or fancy posters about what we do. It’s just work. Sometimes the tea stall downstairs is the highlight of the afternoon when things get hectic. We know our neighbors in the estate well enough to borrow a tool or get some help if a delivery is heavy. It's just a normal spot in an old part of Mumbai where people come to get their jobs finished. Nothing more, nothing less. We just focus on getting through the daily list. The walls could use a new coat of paint, but we haven't had the time to stop and do it yet. We just keep the lights on and do the work that needs doing every single morning.
