Silkon Fabrics Private Limited

Our company, Silkon Fabrics Private Limited, is based in the Adharu Industry Estate. We are in unit 206 within the Sun Mill Compound. This area has a lot of history with textiles, and we are part of that long tradition. The building is an old industrial structure with high ceilings and thick walls. Inside, we have rows of fabric rolls stacked up toward the ceiling. We deal with all kinds of textiles, and the air is often full of tiny fibers. It’s a busy environment where we spend most of our time measuring out lengths of cloth and packing them for shipment. We have a few heavy cutting tables that have been with us for years. The floor is scratched up from moving heavy pallets around. It’s not a place for fancy suits; we all wear practical clothes because it gets dusty. There is a small area for tea and snacks in the back where we take our breaks. The Sun Mill Compound can be a bit confusing for newcomers because of all the different units, but we are easy to find once you get into the Adharu section. We just keep our heads down and do the work. There isn't much to it beyond making sure the fabric is right and the orders go out on time. It’s a solid, honest way to spend the day. Most of the people working here have been with us a long time.
