Colorquip

Colorquip is based out of Plot No. 101 in the Bussa Industrial Estate, right on Hanuman Lane. It is a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes with all the movement in the lane, but we make it work. We deal with colors and everything related to that, so our clothes usually have a few stray marks on them by the end of the day. It’s not the kind of place where you wear a suit. We are just a group of people who know how to handle the materials and get the mixes right. The building itself is older, but it serves its purpose. We spend our time checking batches and making sure the orders are packed up properly for shipping. There is no big corporate ladder here. The person answering the phone is likely the same person who helps move the crates. We prefer it that way because it keeps things simple. Hanuman Lane can get quite crowded in the afternoons, so we try to get our big deliveries out of the way early in the morning. It’s a practical way of living. We don't spend money on fancy marketing or glossy brochures. We figure if the work is good, people will keep coming back to see us. It is a quiet, steady kind of business. We just show up, do what needs doing, and head home to our families. It’s a decent way to earn a living.
