Sakina Trading

Sakina Trading is situated on the first floor, Room 13, at 1/3A Hathi Bagh, right on Love Lane. It’s a bit of an old building and you have to walk up the stairs to find us. Hathi Bagh is a lively area and there is always something happening down on the street. From our room, we can hear the sounds of the city and the people moving through the lane. Our space is mostly filled with stock and boxes. We spend a lot of time organizing things and making sure we know exactly where everything is kept. It’s a small room, so we have to be careful about how we stack things. We usually have a kettle going for tea and there is always someone coming in or out with a delivery. It isn't a retail shop where people come to browse. It’s more of a place where we manage our trades and handle the day-to-day business stuff. The walls are a bit worn and the floor creaks in a few places, but it’s been our base for a long time. We handle a lot of phone calls and paperwork throughout the afternoon. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when a new shipment arrives and we have to move the furniture around to make space. Love Lane is a busy place to be, and we’ve gotten used to the fast pace of the neighborhood over the years. We just keep our heads down and get the work done.
