P Chandra Trading Company

You can find us at No. 67A along Mangaldas Road, right in the heart of the Lohar Chawl area. It’s a very crowded part of the city, and the streets are always full of people and goods moving around on carts. P Chandra Trading Company is a small but busy operation. We trade in different kinds of hardware and materials that people need for their building projects. The shop is packed from floor to ceiling with boxes and items, and sometimes it feels like there’s barely enough room to walk between the aisles. That’s just the way it is in Lohar Chawl, though, and we are used to it. We’ve been at this spot for years and know most of the other traders and shopkeepers nearby. It’s a noisy place with lots of shouting and the sound of carts being pushed over the uneven ground all day long. We don't have a website or anything like that, we just rely on people knowing where we are and what we carry in stock. Sometimes we have to climb up high on the old ladders to reach something a customer wants from the top shelf. It’s physical work and your hands usually get dirty and dusty by the end of the day. We stay open pretty late to make sure everyone gets what they came for. Mangaldas Road is a hectic place to work, but we like the energy of the market. We just keep selling our goods and helping people.
