Logistics & Imports

Our office is located at C/701 in the N.L. Complex here in Mumbai. Logistics & Imports is the name on the door, and we have been handling goods coming in and out of the country from this spot. Dealing with imports involves a lot of waiting and checking on things, which is what we do most of the time. The N.L. Complex is a familiar place for many around here. We spend a lot of time on the computer or the phone, trying to figure out where a container is or why something is delayed. Mumbai is a big place for this kind of work, so we are right in the middle of it all. We don't have a corporate feel at all; it's just a bunch of us working at our desks. Sometimes the office is a bit messy with files and folders everywhere, but we know where everything is. We handle the logistics part for people who need things moved across borders. It requires a lot of patience because customs and shipping can be slow. We just try to keep things moving as best as we can. Every day brings a different set of problems to solve, whether it is a missing document or a shipping delay. We are just regular people doing a regular job, making sure that what needs to be imported gets to the right person eventually. It is steady work, and we are glad to be doing it. That is basically it for us.
