We are Linit Exports Pvt Ltd and we operate out of the Darwala Building on GK Marg. If you know Mumbai, you know Lower Parel is always moving and shaking. Our specific spot is 290/19. It’s an old building, but it has a lot of character and it's right in the middle of everything. We’ve been here for years, watching the neighborhood change from old mills to big tall towers. Despite all the new glass buildings around us, we’ve stayed put in our traditional office. It’s a bit cramped with all the samples and files we keep, but we know where everything is. The stairs in the Darwala Building can be a bit steep, so we tell everyone to take their time. We handle exports, so there’s always boxes coming in and going out. Lower Parel traffic is legendary, so we try to schedule our pickups early in the morning. We don’t have a big corporate feel here. It’s more like a family business where everyone knows everyone’s business. We eat lunch together and complain about the monsoon leaks. It’s a real place with real people. We don’t bother with fancy slogans. We just make sure the shipments are ready and the paperwork is correct. Mumbai -13 is our home and we wouldn't want to be anywhere else. We just take things one day at a time and keep our heads down. It works for us.
