Liladhar Pasoo Forwarders Pvt. Ltd. is located at 57, Mulji House. We are down on Devji Ratan Dev Marg in the Danabunder area of Masjid East. If you’ve ever been near the docks, you know the smell of the salt and the sound of the cranes. Our office is in an old building that has been around forever. The staircases are narrow and the rooms are packed with paper files from years of forwarding goods. We don't have any shiny glass walls or modern art. It is just a place where we figure out how to move things from one place to another. The traffic in Masjid is always a nightmare, so we usually get here early to beat the worst of it. We spend our time checking shipping schedules and talking to the folks at the port. Sometimes we have tea brought in from the corner shop and sit around the big wooden table to talk about the day's problems. It is a very hands-on kind of job. We don't use much corporate talk because there isn't any point to it here. We just want to make sure the containers are where they should be. It is a bit of a messy, loud, and busy way to work, but it is what we know how to do. The ceiling fans spin all day long and the phones never seem to stop ringing for long.
