Lightbook Retail Pvt. Ltd. is based in Mumbai, specifically out in Vasai. We’ve got a space in the Prime Trade Centre, Gala Number 106 on the first floor. Vasai is a busy suburb, and the trade center is always humming with activity. Our gala is packed with boxes and supplies because that’s the nature of the retail business. It’s not a big, open office with fancy lighting; it’s more of a functional space where we handle all our orders. We have a small team of people who are usually busy either on the phone or checking through the inventory. The building itself is quite large, and it can be a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it. We’ve been here for a bit, so we’ve gotten to know the other business owners in the trade center. It’s a very practical environment. We don't have a lot of time for long meetings or corporate fluff. We just focus on getting things done and making sure our records are correct. Sometimes the humidity in Mumbai makes the office feel a bit stuffy, but we just keep the fans going and get on with our tasks. It’s a lot of everyday work, like tracking shipments and managing the stock. We like the location because it’s a hub for trade, even if the commute to this part of town can be a bit much sometimes.
