Lifeline Industries Ltd is based at 8, New Tejpal Indl. Estate, on Andheri Kurla Road. Being in an industrial estate means there is always a lot of movement. Trucks come in and out, and there is a lot of loading and unloading happening near our door. Our unit is number 8. It’s a practical space. We don’t have a big reception area or shiny floors. It’s a place where we get things done. The walls are plain and we have our equipment set up where it fits best. Andheri Kurla Road is a very busy stretch, so getting to work can be a bit of a hassle in the mornings. But once we are inside, we focus on the tasks for the day. We have a few people working in the back and a couple of us handling the office side of things. It can be noisy sometimes because of the industrial work around us, but we are used to it by now. We’ve been here for many years. We know the security guards at the estate gate and the people in the next unit. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s a straightforward environment. We don’t have a lot of meetings; we just talk across the room when something needs to be sorted. It’s a real, working business in a busy industrial part of town. We try to stay organized despite the chaos.
