I am an LIC agent and I use the email guptakamlesh7@rediffmail.com for most of my work things. I do not really have a big office building to show you; I mostly work from home or meet people where it is convenient for them. I have been doing this for a long time now. My day usually starts with checking my inbox on Rediff and seeing who needs help with their paperwork or who has a premium coming up. It is a lot of staying organized with files and making sure people do not miss their dates. I handle things personally because that is how I have always done it. People call me to ask about their plans or if they want to start something new for their kids. It involves a lot of sitting at the kitchen table with piles of forms and a cup of tea. It is not a corporate setup at all. I just try to keep track of everything for my clients. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit much, but I just take it one folder at a time. I have lived in this area for years, so many of the people I work with are actually neighbors or friends of friends. It is a very normal way of working. I do not use fancy software, just my email and a good old-fashioned pen. That is pretty much how I run things every day.
