Colaba is a crowded place, and we are right in the middle of it at 3Rd Pasta Lane. Our office at A-491, 12 & 13 is where Leuenberger Lighting Components India Pvt. Ltd. operates from. It’s an old building, typical for this part of Mumbai, with high ceilings and those narrow stairs that make you watch your step. We handle lighting components, so there’s always boxes of small parts stacked up in the corners. The street outside is always noisy with people walking to the markets or tourists wandering around, but once you get inside A-491, it’s mostly just the sound of keyboards and the occasional phone ringing. We don’t have much space for a big lobby, so you basically walk right into where the work happens. It’s a bit cramped, honestly. But we make it work. Most of us have worked together for a long time, so we don't need a lot of rules to know what to do. Lunch usually means grabbing something from a nearby stall on Pasta Lane because there’s so much good food around. We don’t put on any airs here. It’s just a small team trying to keep things moving. The name is a bit of a mouthful, but people around here just know us as the lighting guys on the third floor. It's home for us during the work week, and we like being in this part of town despite the squeeze.
