Ledlite Corporation

Our office is over in the Nanavati Mahalaya building on Homi Modi Street. If you know Kala Ghoda, you know it is a pretty historic part of Fort. The building has that old feel to it, which we actually like quite a bit. We have been running Ledlite Corporation from here for some time now. It is a bit of a maze getting up to the office sometimes, but you get used to the stairs. We deal with a lot of LED stuff, so the rooms are always bright. The desks are usually covered in bits of wires and spec sheets. We are not really the type of people to keep a perfectly tidy desk. It feels more like a workshop than a corporate headquarters. Outside, the street is always buzzing with people and cars. Sometimes it is hard to find parking, so we usually just take the train or a cab in. We spend our mornings going through emails and the afternoons checking the hardware. It is just a handful of us here doing the daily grind. We are not trying to be the biggest company out there, just trying to do the job properly. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we have not gotten around to it yet. We are more worried about the inventory. It is a solid place to work and the neighbors are nice. We have been in this neighborhood long enough that the local chai wallah knows us. (251 words)
