Laxmi Jewel Case

Laxmi Jewel Case is located in the Papa Industrial Estate. We’re at unit 3/22 on Suren Road in Andheri East. If you’ve been around this part of town, you know it’s mostly warehouses and small factories. Our place is full of materials like velvet, plastic, and cardboard. We spend our days putting together boxes and displays for jewelry. It’s dusty work sometimes, and the machines make a fair bit of noise. We’ve been in this industrial estate for years. The neighbors are mostly other small workshops. We all know each other. The street outside can get really backed up with trucks, especially in the afternoons. Inside, we just focus on getting the orders finished. It’s a lot of hands-on work. We don't have a fancy showroom. If you come by, you’ll see us at the workbenches. We usually have the radio playing in the background to keep things lively. It’s not a corporate office by any means. There’s glue and fabric scraps everywhere. We try to sweep up at the end of the day, but it’s a losing battle. It’s a good, honest living. We take pride in making sure the hinges on the boxes work right and the fabric is tucked in neatly. That’s about it for us. Just a small shop in Andheri trying to keep up with the work. It’s what we know.
