Even though our name says Pune, we are actually operating out of Mumbai these days, specifically in Malad West. We’ve set up our office in the Unity Complex, which is a pretty large building. We are in unit 705 on the seventh floor of the C-5 wing. It’s located in the Rajanpada area, right near the Toyota Showroom. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift is slow, but the office itself is a good space to work in. Laxman Thete And Associates has been at this Mumbai address for quite a while now. It’s a very busy part of the city, and there is always a lot of noise and traffic outside. Inside, we keep things pretty basic. We’ve got some computers, a few old filing cabinets, and some chairs for when people come to visit. It isn't a polished corporate office by any means. We don't have a team of people to write fancy slogans or do marketing for us. It’s just us doing the work day in and day out. We get all sorts of people coming through the door, from local residents to people from across the city. We just sit down and get to the business at hand without making a big deal out of it. It’s a practical way to run a small business. We don't have a mission statement on the wall; we just have a calendar and a list of things we need to finish. Dealing with the traffic around the Toyota showroom is just something we do.
