You’ll find Lavanya Jewels Ltd. tucked away at 21, Pathe Bapurao Marg. We’re right there in Diana Cinema Lane in Tardeo. It’s a bit of a famous little spot because of the old cinema nearby, which everyone knows. The lane is usually full of life, with people walking by and cars trying to squeeze through the narrow space. Our place isn't very large, but it’s where we do all the work on our pieces. We’ve got some sturdy workbenches and a few display cases, though it's more of a real workspace than a fancy boutique you’d see in a mall. There’s a specific smell of metal and polish that always hangs in the air here, which we’ve grown to like. We spend our days looking at small details and making sure everything is just right before it goes out. It can be tedious work for some, but we enjoy the quiet focus of it. Tardeo has changed a lot over the years with new buildings popping up, but our little corner feels pretty much the same as it always was. We don’t do much advertising at all; most people find us because they know someone who’s been here before. It's a bit of a hidden spot, if you really look for it. We just keep our heads down and do the work. The fans hum in the background to keep the heat off during the summer, and we just keep going. It's a simple life, focused on the craft.
