You can find our office in Madurai on Kottaivasal Street. The address is New No 1/79, though some people still know it as Old No 183. We are located in the Mdu-18 area of Tamil Nadu. It is a busy little street and we have been a part of this neighborhood for quite some time now. The office isn't anything like those big corporate buildings you see in Chennai or Bangalore. It’s a simple, practical space where we handle the local business for Larsen Toubro Ltd. Inside, there are just a few of us working at desks and keeping track of the local project files. We don't do any flashy advertising or try to sound like something we aren't. We just focus on the daily paperwork and making sure the site teams have what they need to stay on schedule. The traffic on Kottaivasal Street can be a bit of a headache in the mornings, but we've gotten used to it over the years. We mostly talk to our contractors and workers in plain English or the local language. There is a real sense of community in this part of Madurai, and we like being a part of it. We take our tea breaks together and just worry about getting the work done right. It is a steady, no-nonsense environment where we just focus on the tasks at hand and try to be helpful to our colleagues.
