Our office is located in Sahakar Nagar, which is part of the Ranilaxmibai Ward in Bhandara. It’s a bit far from the main buzz of Mumbai, but we handle the ECC division operations for this area. The office isn't very large and it has a very local feel to it. We don’t have any big corporate signs or a reception desk with someone waiting for you. Most of us just walk in and get to work at our desks. There are a few old wooden tables and some metal filing cabinets that have seen better days. It’s a quiet neighborhood for the most part, although you can hear the local sounds of the ward throughout the day. We spend most of our time coordinating with the people out on the construction sites. They come in with mud on their boots to drop off reports or pick up supplies. We drink a lot of chai while we talk about the progress of different jobs. It feels more like a small community than a big company branch. We know the neighbors and the people who run the shops down the road. We usually bring our own lunch or go out to a small eatery nearby. There isn't much to say about the building itself; it’s just a functional place for us to gather and do our jobs. We don’t worry about making everything look perfect. We just care about making sure the work gets done correctly for the projects we are handling.
