LAKSHMI VACUUM HEAT TREATERS

Our workshop is over in the Balaji Industrial Estate, specifically at B / 39. If you know the Hanuman Nagar area in Kandivli East, we are right across from the M&M Yellow Gate. It's a busy industrial zone, so there's always a lot of loading and unloading happening around us. We focus on vacuum heat treating here. It’s a technical process, but to us, it’s just the daily routine. The machines are large and take up most of the floor space. They hum along throughout the shift, and it can get pretty warm inside the unit. We don’t have much in the way of air conditioning or fancy furniture. Most of our budget goes into maintaining the equipment and making sure the cycles run correctly. People bring us their parts, we put them through the heat treatment, and they pick them up when they’re done. It’s not very glamorous work, but it is necessary for the local manufacturing shops nearby. We’ve been in this estate for a long time now. The neighbors are mostly other small factories and workshops, so we all know each other. Sometimes we share a tea or talk about the traffic on the main road. We keep things simple and try to be reliable. If the work is done right, people come back, and that’s how we’ve stayed in business. It’s just us doing our thing in Kandivli.
