Lakasha Auto Trim is right here on the second floor of Ranka House. If you know Bail Bazar in Kurla, you know how busy it gets every single day. We spend most of our time surrounded by rolls of fabric and various car interior parts that need sorting. It is not a fancy office with leather chairs or anything like that. It is just a real workspace where things actually happen. Usually, the morning starts with us opening up the heavy shutters and letting some air in before the Mumbai heat really kicks in. Being up on the second floor helps a little with the street noise, but you still hear the constant honking from the market down below. We have been at this address for a long time now. Most of the time, our desks are completely covered in samples, scissors, and measuring tapes. Someone is always on the phone or checking a shipment that just arrived at the gate. We do not have a marketing team or a reception area. It is just us doing the work that needs to be done. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, so we end up carrying materials up the stairs, which is a real workout. We know the local tea seller by name, and he knows exactly how many cups to bring around 11 o’clock. It is a very practical setup. We just focus on getting the trim work right and making sure everything fits the way it should.
