L. Liladhar & Co. is situated at 257-259 Sanvel Street in the Vadgadi area. This part of the city is known for being a hub for chemicals and spices, so we fit right in. Our building is one of those classic structures with big wooden doors and narrow hallways. It’s always a bit noisy outside with the tempo trucks and people shouting, but that’s just the energy of the market. We’ve been operating from this spot for many years. We deal with various goods, and our warehouse space is usually packed to the ceiling with bags and boxes. It’s not the most organized-looking place, but we have our own system that works for us. We aren't interested in fancy marketing or big corporate presentations. We prefer to talk to our clients directly and figure things out. Sometimes we sit around the desk and share a meal while discussing the day's orders. Our team is small and everyone wears many hats—one minute someone is answering the phone, and the next they are helping move a heavy sack. It’s a lot of physical work and staying on top of the market prices. We’ve seen many businesses come and go in Vadgadi, but we’ve managed to stay put by just being consistent. We don’t make big promises, we just do what we say we’re going to do. This has been a simple way to run a business and it has worked well.
