L. L. Equipment & Machines Pvt. Ltd. is based out of LK Arcade, right near the Marol Naka metro station on Sir M.V. Road. Being in Andheri East means we are right in the middle of all the industrial action. Our place at 35/36-C is where we handle the day-to-day business of dealing with heavy machinery and spare parts. It’s loud outside with the traffic and the trains, but inside we just focus on the paperwork and the machine specs. We’ve been in this spot for years. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy with the equipment to worry about that. Most of our day is spent talking to factory managers who need something fixed or a new part for their assembly line. We keep a lot of records in old filing cabinets because that’s just how we’ve always done it. It works for us. The tea guy comes around twice a day, which is usually when we take a break. We aren't trying to be some big corporate entity with glass walls. We’re just a bunch of people who understand how these machines work and try to help out the businesses that use them. Sometimes the monsoon makes the commute a bit of a mess, but we always show up and get the doors open. It’s a straightforward way to make a living, even if it gets a bit chaotic sometimes.
