Unity Medical General Stores

Our shop, Unity Medical General Stores, is tucked into the Murji Mension Compound. We are at Shop Number 3/298 on L B S Marg in Kurla West. It is a very lively area, especially being so close to the Taxi Man Colony. We see a lot of the drivers coming in for their daily needs, whether it's medicine or just something small from the general store side. The compound has been there for ages, and our shop feels like a part of that history. We have shelves that go all the way to the ceiling, packed with everything from bandages to soap. It can be a bit of a climb on the ladder to reach the top rows. The L B S Marg traffic is never-ending, so there is a constant hum of engines outside. We stay open pretty late because people in Kurla always seem to need something at odd hours. It’s just us behind the counter, mostly. We know many of the neighbors by name since they’ve been coming here for years. The shop isn't modern or sleek; it’s just a reliable place where the floor tiles are a bit worn from all the foot traffic. We spend a lot of time checking expiry dates and dusting off the bottles. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living, and being right there near the taxi colony means there is never a dull moment. We just keep the doors open for anyone.
