Kunal Chaudhari Photography is based right here in Mumbai. Mumbai is a massive city, and being a photographer here means you are always on the move. There isn't one specific office where I sit all day. Most of the time, I am out on the streets or at different locations across the city. My gear is usually packed in a bag, ready to go. The city has so many different sides to it, from the crowded stations to the quiet corners of old neighborhoods. I don't have a big studio with flashing lights and a white floor. Usually, I am just working with whatever light is available or setting up something quick on-site. It’s a bit of a messy life, honestly. There is a lot of traveling in local trains and sitting in traffic. Mumbai is the kind of place that never sleeps, so there is always something to see. I spend a lot of time editing on a laptop in small cafes or at home. It’s not a corporate setup at all. It’s just me and my cameras. People often ask where I am located, and I just say Mumbai because the whole city is where I work. I don't have any fancy titles. I just take pictures of what I see. It’s a simple way of living. Some days are long and tiring, but that is just how it goes here.
