Our office is tucked away in Chembur East, specifically at the Trishul Apartment complex in Sindhi Society. We are up on the sixth floor in flat 601-B. Being in Mumbai, space is always a bit tight, so our setup is pretty straightforward and functional. We spend most of our time dealing with the usual construction headaches like getting permits and making sure the materials show up at the site when they are supposed to. It’s a lot of back-and-forth between the office and the different building sites we have going on. Chembur has changed so much lately with all the new flyovers and the monorail, so it keeps us busy just trying to keep track of the local rules. We aren't a giant firm with hundreds of people; we’re more of a local operation that knows the neighborhood well. Sometimes we have to deal with leaky pipes or contractors who run late, but that is just how the construction business goes in this city. We don’t have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. People usually just drop by to talk about their flats or check on how the work is progressing. It’s hard work and the hours can be long, especially when we are trying to finish a floor before the rain starts. We just try to do an honest job every day and keep the projects moving along as best as we can.
