College Lane is one of those spots in Breach Candy that feels a bit tucked away from the main noise. I’m at 52 A. It’s a decent place to work. You get the sea breeze if the wind is blowing the right way, which helps when the afternoon gets humid. Kshipra Patel isn’t a big operation. It’s mostly just me and the space I’ve set up here. The lane is narrow, so you have to be careful where you park your scooter. I’ve been here for a while, and the neighbors are all familiar faces. The building is older, but it’s sturdy. I usually start the day by opening the windows and letting the air circulate. There’s a tree right outside that shades the front for most of the morning. Inside, it’s a bit of a mess of papers and books, but it’s my mess. I don't really go for the polished look because that’s not how I work. I’d rather have everything within reach. People know where to find me at 52 A. It’s a quiet routine. I handle things as they come. Breach Candy has changed a lot over the years, but this little corner of College Lane feels pretty much the same as it always did. I like the consistency of it. It’s just a regular spot where I get things done without much interference from the outside world.
