Our office is situated in Vile Parle East, right near the Gokul Academy on Sahakar Marg. It is a very busy part of Mumbai, as you can imagine, so there is never a quiet moment outside our doors at Gurukrupa. We have been doing the building work here for a while, and the neighborhood has become quite familiar to us. You can see the planes taking off nearby and the streets are always packed with people heading to the station or the market. Inside the office, things are usually a bit cluttered with blueprints and files for the various projects we have going on. We don't spend much on fancy furniture or decor because we are usually out on the sites anyway. People drop by all the time to ask about new developments or just to have a chat about the property market in this part of town. It’s a small team, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, from answering the phone to checking on the masonry work. The humidity in Mumbai can be tough on the paperwork and the building materials, but we’ve learned how to deal with it over the years. We just keep moving forward with the work, trying to make sure the buildings we put up are solid and the people are happy with where they live. There is always a lot of noise and heat, but that is Mumbai life.
