K.Raheja Corp. has a small setup here in Navi Mumbai, specifically in Sector-9 of Vashi. We are located in Aashirwad Apartments, Unit Jn-2/12/A-2. It’s more of a home-office vibe than a skyscraper. Vashi is quite organized compared to other places, but our particular corner feels very lived-in. The apartment was converted into an office years ago. You can still see where the old kitchen used to be, which we now use to store extra stationery and the water cooler. The balcony has a few plastic chairs where we go to take a break and watch the traffic go by. It’s a bit noisy because of the location, but you get used to it after a week or two. We don't have a big team here. It’s just a handful of us who have known each other for a long time. We don't really do formal dress codes or anything like that; we just wear what’s comfortable for the weather. Most of the day is spent handling local matters and keeping the records straight. Sometimes the doorbell rings and it’s just someone lost looking for a different sector. We help them out and get back to work. It’s not a high-pressure environment, just a steady stream of chores to get through. We like it this way. It feels like we are part of the neighborhood rather than just a business sitting there. It’s practical and straightforward.
