Our office for K.Raheja Corp. is in A2 Shwetal Society, which sits on Maharishi Karve Marg in Dombivli West. Being in Thane district, we are used to the pace of life here. It’s a residential society, so it doesn't really feel like a cold corporate office. Sometimes you can hear kids playing outside or someone’s pressure cooker whistling from the flats above. It makes the workday feel a bit more human. We’ve been in this spot for quite a while now. The office is mostly just one big room with some wooden dividers that have seen better days. We have a lot of cupboards that are overflowing with files because we never seem to throw anything away. The light in the back corner is a bit dim, so no one likes sitting there. We usually have the radio on low in the background, playing old songs. It keeps the mood light while we deal with all the mundane tasks. Dombivli West is a busy area, especially near the station, so the commute can be a real struggle for some of the staff. We usually start a bit later to avoid the worst of the rush. There’s no big cafeteria here, just a small table where we share snacks. It’s a simple life. We aren't trying to impress anyone with fancy furniture. We just show up, do the work that needs doing, and go home to our families. It’s a quiet, steady kind of place.
