Our office is tucked away in the Vineeta Housing Society over in Chakala. If you’re driving down the Andheri-Ghatkopar Link Road, it’s easy to miss if you aren't looking for it. We’ve been based in Andheri East for a long while. It’s a crowded area, but it’s where all the action is for pharma business in Mumbai. We work on machinery for pharmaceutical companies. It’s mostly about parts, repairs, and setting up the lines. We don't have a big corporate showroom or anything flashy. Usually, we are out at client sites anyway, fixing a conveyor or adjusting a tablet press. The office at B/7 is where the paperwork and the planning happen. It gets a bit cramped with all the manuals and spare parts lying around. Sometimes the tea stall downstairs is the best place to have a quick meeting. We know the machines inside out because we’ve been around them for decades. We don't use big words to describe what we do. If a machine isn't running, we find out why and get it moving again. The traffic around the Link Road can be a real pain during monsoon season, but that’s just life in Mumbai. We just keep our heads down and focus on the technical stuff. Most of our customers have been calling us for years because they know we’ll show up. It’s just us doing our job. It’s not always pretty, but it’s real work. We deal with greasy gears and electrical panels that have seen better days. We just try to keep the production lines running for the clients so they don't lose time. We don't have a big HR department or fancy titles. Everyone here knows how to pick up a wrench if they have to. It’s a small operation, but we’ve stayed in business because we know the machines. We spend a lot of time on the road, going from one factory to another.
