Kotecha & Co.

We are located in the Fort area, which is one of the oldest parts of the city. Kotecha & Co. is inside the Commissariat Building on D.N. Road. If you know the area, you know those old colonial buildings have a lot of character, but they also have a lot of stairs. Luckily we are only on the third floor at number 231. The office has those high ceilings and thick walls that keep things a bit cooler than the modern buildings. It’s a busy spot with all the banks and offices nearby. We’ve been operating from here for quite a while. Our daily routine is mostly about handling accounts and dealing with the usual paperwork that comes with being in Fort. It can get pretty loud outside with the buses and all the people walking to the station, but we’re used to it. Inside, it’s just a regular workspace with some old wooden furniture and stacks of files that we really should organize better. We aren’t trying to be some high-end firm with a lobby and a receptionist. It’s usually just us answering the phone and meeting people who drop by. We prefer it this way. It’s honest work and we have built a lot of long-term relationships with people in the neighborhood. Fort has a certain energy that you don’t find anywhere else, and we are glad to be a small part of it. We just open up every morning and see what the day brings.
