Our office is at 104 Business Classic, over in Malad West by Chincholi Bunder. It's a fairly easy place to find once you're in the neighborhood. We spend most of our time here dealing with the daily ups and downs of the market. It’s not always quiet; there’s usually someone talking on the phone or the sound of keyboards tapping away. Kotak Securities has been in this spot for a bit, and we’ve become part of the local routine. The morning commute can be a bit of a struggle with the Malad traffic, but once we’re inside, it’s just the usual work. We have a small area where we keep the water cooler and some files that we haven't quite moved to the digital system yet. The windows look out over the street, so we see the neighborhood change throughout the day as the shops open and close. It’s a functional office, meant for working rather than showing off. We keep the desks mostly clean, though the occasional coffee mug usually stays out until the end of the day. It’s a straightforward environment. We aren't big on meetings that last hours; we'd rather just get through the tasks we have for the day. Sometimes the elevator takes a while, so a few of us have started taking the stairs just to save time and get some exercise. It’s just a normal workplace with normal people doing their jobs.
