The view from the 7th floor is okay, mostly just the local rooftops and the busy street below. We’ve got our files and spare parts lists scattered around the room. It’s a working office, not a museum. The elevator in our own building gets a lot of use, which is kind of funny when you think about what we do for a living. Being in Fiat No 707 means we have a bit of a walk from the station, but it’s manageable for the staff. The Mumbai humidity usually hits as soon as you step outside, so we appreciate the office fans. We handle a lot of the maintenance requests for this side of the city from this spot. It’s a busy atmosphere with people coming in from site visits in the suburbs.
