You’ll find Konark Semiconductor on the first floor of a building in Chunam Lane. If you know this area, you know Lamington Road is the place for anything electronic. It’s a bit of a maze around here with all the shops selling wires, chips, and gadgets. We’re at number 358. Our space is pretty small, packed with shelves of components and small boxes. We’ve been operating from here for a long time. People come to us when they can’t find a specific part elsewhere. We don’t have a fancy website or a sales team. It’s just us behind the counter. The air conditioning struggles a bit in the afternoon heat, but we keep the stock organized. It’s a busy life on Lamington Road. Every morning we open up, check the inventory, and wait for the regulars to stop by. Sometimes it’s students looking for parts for a project, other times it’s repair shop owners. We try to be helpful without overcomplicating things. There’s no big corporate strategy here. We just buy parts, sell parts, and try to keep our head above water in this competitive market. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit narrow, so you have to watch your step. We’ve seen many shops come and go, but we’re still here, doing our bit in the electronics trade. It's dusty but we know where everything is.
