Koka Agritech Llp

Our spot is situated in the Kalbadevi area of Mumbai. If you know Mumbai at all, you know how packed those streets can be. We are at Joshiwadi, on the second floor of plot 419D, right on Kalbadevi Road. It’s an old building, like most things in this part of the city. We are working on agritech stuff at Koka Agritech Llp, which means we try to bring some modern tools into the world of farming. It’s a bit ironic doing this from one of the oldest trading hubs in Mumbai. The stairs are narrow and it’s always a bit dark in the hallways, but our office is where we get everything done. It’s a small space, mostly computers and some prototypes we are testing out. Most of our day is spent looking at data and trying to figure out how to help farmers get better yields. It’s a lot of trial and error. We aren't some big tech firm with a glass office. We are just a few guys in a small room in Kalbadevi. The noise from the street is constant, but it keeps us energized. We like being in the middle of all that trade. It reminds us that at the end of the day, business is about people buying and selling. We just want to make that process a bit smarter for the agro sector. It’s a slow process but we’re getting there slowly.
